2017 Tesla Model S Gives Up Chasing Chevy Volt And Nissan Leaf
The 2017 Tesla Model S isn’t going to chase after the Chevrolet Volt or the Nissan Leaf as now it has set its sights on vehicles from the line-up of BMW, Mercedes and Audi.
It was just a few years ago when people laughed at the idea of Tesla being able to offer up a luxury sedan. Tesla has been laughing at people who said this though as they have proved them wrong thanks to the 2017 Tesla Model S.
In the luxury sedan market the best-selling vehicle has been the Tesla Model S. one third of sales in the luxury sedan market have been the Model S and sales increased by 59% compared to the previous year, they sold 9, 156 units.
The 2017 Tesla Model S beat the Audi A8, Mercedes Benz S-Class and BMW 7 vehicles.
It was said that Tesla are behind one third of luxury car sales in the large segment and it looks like it isn’t just the Tesla Model S that is the best seller as the Tesla Model X has sole 5, 428 units.
