2017 Tesla Model S Cannot Compete With Nissan Leaf And Chevrolet Volt

The 2017 Tesla Model S isn’t going to be competing with the Chevrolet Volt or the Nissan Leaf any longer as it has set its sights on Audi, Mercedes and BMW.

It was just a few years ago when many people doubted that Tesla would offer up a luxury EV sedan, but the company went on to show these people that they were wrong.

In fact it was recently said by Bloomberg that the Tesla Model S has become the best-selling luxury sedan over in the US. The sales of the vehicle during the third quarter have increased by 59% when compared to the same time last year as they have sold 9, 156 units.

The 2017 Tesla Model S has gone on to beat the sales of the Mercedes Benz S-Class, Audi A8 and the BMW 7 Series.

At the moment Tesla is behind one third of sales of luxury vehicles in that segment and it isn’t just the Tesla Model S that has been selling well as the Model X crossover has enjoyed sales of 5, 428 units.
