2017 Subaru Impreza vs Honda Civic: Styling All The Way
Two great vehicles are the 2017 Subaru Impreza and the Honda Civic as both offer lots of style, loads of technology and great specs. But which out of the two has the most style?
The 2017 Subaru Impreza is the most agile of the two and it offers a ride that is fun and its comfortable on long journeys. The engines are the same and these include the 2 litre 152 horsepower with six speed if you go for the entry level and CVT on the higher models. The Impreza Sport gives you 18 inch alloy wheels along with sports suspension and active torque vectoring.
There is a great deal to like about the 2017 Subaru Impreza. It has sleek styling, handling that is great and a low nose. The all-wheel drive is standard and its efficient, but some have said that the styling does tend to be over fussy.
The 2016 Honda Civic is a great looker and it offers up good fuel economy. It has a great ride quality, with steering that offers a good feel and there is plenty of cargo space and room in the back. The standard engine doesn’t excite and the CVT doesn’t offer direct control and if you venture over 5,000rpm it can be loud.
The base versions of the 2016 Honda Civic do have linear handling and the 1 litre in-line four engine is standard. It offers up 158 horses with 6 speed manual transmission in the LX and CVT on the other trims. You should be able to get about 31mpg combined. The base version is offered with 16 inch tires and the ride quality is good. If you go for the turbocharged engine the tires are better and the suspension is hydraulic.
So will you choose the 2016 Honda Civic or will it be the 2017 Subaru Impreza?
