Two superb vehicles offering plenty of style are the Honda Civic and the 2017 Subaru Impreza. Both vehicles come packed with technology and both offer up specs that are great, but which would you go for?

The 2017 Subaru Impreza now offers up more versatility and this is a fun ride that is also comfortable. The engines come from the version from the year before and they include the 152 horses power 2 litre with six gears on lower models and the CVT on others. The Impreza Sport has the sports suspension, active torque vectoring and 18 inch alloy wheels.

There is a lot to like about the 2017 Subaru Impreza, it offers sleek styling, handling that is superb and the nose is lower. AWD is standard and it one of the most fuel efficient AWD vehicles on the road. Some people have said that the style of it is busy and others thought that the interior could have been better.

The 2016 Honda Civic has a shape that looks good and the fuel economy is superb. The steering offers good feel and it has one of the best ride qualities around. There is a lot of space in the back and in the cargo area. The downside to it is that the base trim isn’t as sharp as it could be and the standard engine hasn’t got anything that excites. The CVT lacks direct shift control and the drivetrain can be loud when you go over 5,000rpm.

The Honda Civic comes with base models that offer linear handling and the 1 litre in-line four engine is the standard and this offers up 158 horses and has the 6 speed manual transmission in the LX and the CVT in other versions. You should get about 31mpg combined and fuel economy is great. The base version has 16 inch tires and it offers up a ride quality that is superb. The turbocharged version has hydraulic suspension and better tires and the ride is more composed.

So would you rather get behind the wheel of the 2017 Subaru Impreza or would it be the 2016 Honda Civic?
