2017 Nissan GT-R: Styling Inspiration For Nissan 370Z?

By  |

There has been plenty of speculation going around about the Nissan 370Z and it has been said that the 2017 Nissan GT-R has been the inspiration for the370Z.

We are going to see the Nissan 370Z at the Tokyo Motor Show in October alongside the Nissan Juke, so Nissan are preparing two concept vehicles for the show.

The design of the Nissan 370Z is said to be the same as that on the 2017 Nissan GT-R and the proportions are going to be around the same too. We have heard that there will be a choice of three different engines, but then you do have to bear in mind that we are talking about a concept so this may not be true.

The entry level engine will be the V6 3 litre offering 300 horses along with 295 torque, so it will probably be the turbocharged engine. It is also thought that the Nissan 370Z will receive the 400 horse engine taken from the Inifiniti Q60 Red Sport. Both engines will offer the 7 speed twin-clutch gearing as standard.

On the other hand we did hear that the Nissan 370Z is going to be expensive and that it would be downsized so as to bring down the cost and save on weight. So for now we are going to have to wait to see what happens at the Tokyo Motor Show.
