2017 Mitsubishi Mirage: Nobody Is Going To Miss It

By  |

Mitsubishi has not said anything about ending the Mirage anytime soon but some consumer feels like nobody would really care even if Mitsubishi decides to kill off the Mitsubishi Mirage.

While the Mirage does have it advantages like the low price tag that it is being offered with, a lot of consumers feel like the Mirage does not really add anything to the automobile industry other than being that affordable model.

Most people feel like nobody is going to miss the Mitsubishi Mirage if Mitsubishi kills it off now. The current Mitsubishi Mirage will come in with a 78hp three-cylinder engine that will be mated to a five-speed manual transmission. There is also a CVT option.

The Mirage will return about 43mpg on the highway which is pretty good but the consumers are just not impressed with the drive and performance of the Mirage. At the end of the day, the Mirage is the kind of vehicle that will get the job done for you if you are looking for a daily commute but don’t expect more from it.

Will you miss it if it was killed off?

Yes, I would miss it! In reality, it hits a pretty low out-the-door price and has a great warranty.

For those with fond memories of Geo Metro/Suzuki Swift, it’s a much nicer econocar than those ever were!

Mitsu gets dumped on way too much in the USA. In many other parts of the world it’s a highly respected brand.
