Despite everything that the vehicle has to offer, the 2017 Mercedes-Benz B-Class has never been that well received and Mercedes has now decided that there is no point keeping it around.
According to Autonews, Mercedes reveal that they will be killing off the Mercedes-Benz B-Class Electric Drive model in the third quarter of this year. With the model gone, Mercedes can really focus on their upcoming EQ vehicles.
The plant will go from building the B-Class Electric Drive model to building the updated compact vehicles. To be honest, we don’t think the consumers will be sad to see the Mercedes-Benz B-Class Electric Drive go.
The vehicle arrived back in 2013 and after being around for 4 years, Mercedes only manage to sell 3651 units of the B-Class Electric Drive model. Mercedes has also revealed that they will be focusing more on mobility and electrification in the future so we should be seeing more auto pilot systems and EV models from them.
