When the Mazda CX-5 made an appearance at the LA Auto Show it did go down well and people liked the new looks. But what wasn’t made clear was whether the vehicle was going to be a 2017 version or whether it would be a 2018 vehicle.

The Mazda CX-5 is a big step forward towards the car maker entering into the premium market. They have been taking things very slowly as they move towards taking on vehicles to come from Audi and Porsche.

So one question that was on the lips of everyone was if the Mazda CX-5 would be arriving as the 2017 or the 2018 version. Some people did say that it wouldn’t arrive until 2018 but then others thought that it would arrive in 2017.

This was something that happened with the Honda CR-V and it was then said that the same could apply to the Mazda CX-5. The 5th gen of the Honda CR-V was going to be coming our way for 2018 in three row format, but then it was said that it would be arriving in 2017.
