2017 Mazda 6: There Isn’t Going To Be A Fairytale Ending

By  |

With the launch of the Mazda CX-9 came a brand new engine and that engine was said to have been designed so that it could fit into vehicles of the future. However, just because the engine fits it doesn’t mean that we are going to see it arrive in the 2017 Mazda 6.

Now people have begun to speculate about the engine in the Mazda 6 as many think that the one size fits all engine may not be in the vehicle. While it would fit, it would mean that testing and upgrades would have to be made and it seems that Mazda don’t have the time to do it right now.

We could of course see the Mazda 6 arrive with a brand new engine at some point in the future, but we don’t think that it is going to be seen in the 2017 version. The engine in question is the 2.5 litre turbocharged four cylinder and this is going to offer up 227 horses and 310 of torque.
