2017 Mazda 6: It Is Looking As Though Fairytale Ending Isn’t Going To Happen
While the engine might fit it doesn’t mean that there is going to be a fairytale ending for the Mazda 6. Mazda launched the CX-9 and with it came a brand new engine. Mazda said that the engine would be compact enough so that it could fit into any vehicle of Mazda in the future, but it is looking as though it’s not going into the 2017 Mazda 6.
Many people have speculated that the Mazda 6 could come with a brand new engine but now this may not happen. The engine would fit into the vehicle no doubt, however it would mean that Mazda would have to undertake a great deal of testing and this takes time and time is something that the car maker doesn’t have right now.
It is possible that we could see the arrival of the Mazda 6 in the future with a new engine, but this isn’t going to happen with the 2017 model. The engine is the 2.5 litre turbocharged four cylinder and it is said to offer up 227 horses and 310 torque.
