The 2017 Mazda 3 has the upper hand over the Honda Civic as the G-Vectoring technology gives it the advantage when it comes to driving and it helped the Mazda 3 win the Best New Innovation Technology Award for 2017.
The Mazda Skyactiv-G 2.5T dynamic pressure turbo engine was also one of the finalists for the award, so Mazda had two chances at getting their hands on the award.
The next generation vehicle motion control tech with the name of Skyactiv Vehicle Dynamics was introduced on the 2017 Mazda 3 and Mazda 6. The technology helps to boost the driving experience as it offers integrated control over the chassis, body, transmission and engine of the vehicles. The first of the tech of the Skyactiv Vehicle Dynamics series is the GVC.
The technology has been used first in the Mazda 3 and 6 and it will be used in the line-up of vehicles from the carmaker as they make updates to models in the future. It helps by reducing the need to make steering corrections, improving handling stability and steering response and giving the driver more confidence on the road.
