It looks like it is the end for the Lexus CT200h as Car And Driver report that Lexus is looking to ax the vehicle once they are done with the 2017 model.

The Lexus CT200h has been in the US for less than 10 years but it looks like poor sales meant that Lexus will have to remove it from their US lineup. With the Lexus CT200h gone, the Lexus NX Crossover will be the new base model for Lexus.

The current Lexus CT200j will come with a 1.8-liter Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder engine that will be offering about 134hp. The engine will return about 43mpg in the city and 40mpg on the highway which is pretty impressive although it is still far from beating the Toyota Prius.

The 2017 Lexus CT200h retails for $31,250. With it gone, the cheapest Lexus will be the NX Crossover with its $35,285 price tag. While it will be taken out of the US market, Lexus will continue to offer the Lexus CT200h in other markets.
