2017 Hyundai Ioniq: We May See Double Before 2020

By  |

We are expecting to see the new 2017 Hyundai Ioniq and this is going to be an EV model that also comes with a plug-in option. Along with the hybrid we are expecting the vehicle to offer up 110 miles range and Hyundai are looking to double this by the year 2020.

The longer range is thought not to be the 2017 Hyundai Ioniq, however we do know that the company is looking working on offering up an EV model. Hyundai is going to be working alongside Genesis and Kia to launch a longer range model.

It is thought that we might see an electric model with a range of 200 miles by 2018 along with a 250 mile electric range version by the year 2020. All versions will give more range and Hyundai are confident that the arrival isn’t going to have any effect on the sales of the Hyundai Ioniq, as it is thought that they will have a larger price tag.
