2017 Hyundai Elantra Takes Selling Lessons From The Volt

When you compare the Hyundai Elantra to the Honda Civic, the former has plenty to say. However it’s not the neat tricks it offers or the on-paper figures that are going to make it a winner.

Hyundai are working with Amazon Prime when it comes to promoting the Hyundai Elantra, along the same lines as Chevrolet Volt as has been promoted.

Promotion hasn’t gone down all that well with the Chevrolet Volt though as it hasn’t benefited from any money from the marketing or advertising of GM. The car maker does however have its own way of bringing in people.

The vehicle is taken to the homes of buyers so that they can test drive it. At the same time there is an expert sat at the side of the prospective buyer to give them help and advice.

The promotion method meant that 12,000 units of the PHEV have been sold so far and Hyundai has now the same approach for their compact sedan. They have teamed up with Amazon Prime with a service called Prime Now and Drive Now and allows people to order a test drive.

This means that an expert turns up on the doorstep of the prospective buyer and both the customer and expert go on the test drive. This can happen between 9am to 7pm on weekends but right now it’s only available in Orange County and Los Angeles.
