The 2017 Honda Ridgeline arrived in Detroit and the crowd loved it. While the vehicle received many good comments there was also some bad about the fact that it came with looks that were boring.
Now people have begun to compare the Honda Ridgeline to trucks including the Chevrolet Camaro, Nissan Frontier and the Toyota Tacoma. These are all trucks in the midsize range with V6 engines, so how do they all compare?
If you want the most horsepower you are going to have to choose the Chevrolet Colorado. If it’s more torque you are after it is the Nissan Frontier that comes out ahead. For the biggest towing payload it has to be the Chevrolet Colorado as it is able to tow 7,000lbs.
The Honda Ridgeline comes into play as it offers up the widest payload, which means that the Ridgeline does come in ahead of the Toyota Tacoma as this has yet to get any points at all.
The Toyota Tacoma does offer blind spot monitoring but the Honda Ridgeline beats it thanks to it having this along with lane departure warning and other safety features.
While the Honda Ridgeline does`nt walk away with the title of being the best truck it certainly stands up to the others well and it does a lot better than the Toyota Tacoma, which failed to get any points.
