The Honda Ridgeline offers a great deal, such as it being a great utility vehicle that is comfortable. However, it is so expensive that it is going to hurt to dig deep into your pockets to get behind the wheel.

The 2017 Honda Ridgeline offers the global light truck platform and it is close to the Honda Pilot as it shares a lot of the same structure. If you want a truck for hauling things around or towing, you can do no better, but you are going to have to pay a high price for what is essentially a Pilot with a bed.

The engine is the V6 3.5 litre and this gives you 280 horses and 262 torque. It has six speed automatic transmission and is available in either front-wheel or all-wheel drive.

While there are many things to like about the 2017 Honda Ridgeline, what you are not going to like is the price tag of $41, 370. You don’t get the top of the range for this either as this is the starting price and if you want to go higher, you will feel the real pain of digging into your pockets even deeper.

There are many who believe that the 2017 Honda Ridgeline would have been better off priced at around $18,000, after all for just over $43k you can get behind the wheel of the F150 Lariat.

Some people have said that dealers only stock the higher end models of the 2017 Honda Ridgeline and not the entry level. Of course these have a price tag that is even higher. You can get the Chevrolet Colorado with specs that are very similar and this will help you to save $5k.

So is the 2017 Honda Ridgeline price tag a bit on the steep side for you?
