The 2017 Honda Ridgeline recently made its debut at the International Auto Show in Detroit and it got praised highly for not only its versatility but the range of accessories that came with the vehicle, all of which goes towards making the truck more useful and giving it style.
In regards to visuals owners of the 2017 Honda Ridgeline can get black cross bars and roof rails and fender flares in black. Skid plate, 18 inch alloys in black, die cast side steps and tonnaeau covers can be chosen, while there is a 50mm trailer ball that can be attached if so desired.
The 2017 Honda Ridgeline has a unibody and this has the basis of the Global Light Truck platform of Honda. It offers 725kg carrying capacity on the flat bed of 1,230 mm and there are plenty of useful features on the bed itself. These include a drain plug, dual action tailgate, 400 watt power inverter, in-bed trunk that can be locked and eight 159kg cleats for tying down.
Entertainment is never far away as there is also an in-bed audio system which makes use of six exciters which are hidden inside the bed walls as opposed to having speakers that are more conventional. These offer as much as 540 watts power.
The cabin of the 2017 Honda Ridgeline is also practical as it offers seating that can be split into 60:40 and which can also be tipped to allow such as a bicycle to be carried inside.
The engine is the V6 i-VTEC 3.5 litre direct injected which comes with the 6 speed automatic and there is the choice of getting the all-wheel drive if you prefer. It comes with the i-VTM4 vectoring all-wheel drive, again courtesy of Honda, and this has Intelligent Terrain Management. Also available is the two-wheel drive version.
