2017 Honda Ridgeline, Frontier, Tacoma and Colorado In Fight For Best

By  |

When the 2017 Honda Ridgeline showed up at the Detroit Auto show it almost brought the show to a standstill. However, at the same time there were some people who didn’t think the vehicle was all that. Some said that they thought it had looks that were boring.

The Ridgeline is going up against the Toyota Tacoma, Chevrolet Colorado and the Nissan Frontier. But can it hold its own among these greats?

The Chevrolet Colorado does offer up more horses and the Nissan Frontier cannot be beaten for torque. This means that the Honda Ridgeline comes behind them. When it comes to great payload the Chevrolet Colorado beats the Ridgeline, along with the rest of the trucks and this is thanks to the 7,000lbs payload.

The Honda Ridgeline may not come ahead for having the heaviest payload but it does come with a design for the widest one. This means it at least is favorable in this aspect and it comes above the Toyota Tacoma, which hasn’t scored any points.

The Toyota Tacoma has good blind spot monitoring, but even so the Honda Ridgeline comes in ahead. It also comes with lane departure warning.

But which, out of these vehicles would you choose? Would you go for the 2017 Honda Ridgeline or one of its competition?
