One vehicle that turned heads when it arrived at the Detroit Auto Show was the 2017 Honda Ridgeline. The vehicle mainly received good reviews but at the same time there were some comments about the vehicle having looks that were boring.
Now people have started to compare the Honda Ridgeline to vehicles such as the Chevrolet Colorado, Nissan Frontier and the Toyota Tacoma. So how is the Ridgeline compared to these V6 midsize pickups?
The Chevrolet Colorado offers the most horses and the Nissan Frontier gives out the most torque. This means that the Honda Ridgeline comes in behind them in these categories. For the payload it is the Chevrolet Colorado that comes out ahead thanks to it being able to tow up to 7,000lbs.
The Honda Ridgeline does come in ahead if you go for the widest payload so it comes in ahead of the Toyota Tacoma as this vehicle hasn’t managed to get any points yet.
The Toyota Tacoma cannot even win for safety features such as blind spot monitoring as the Honda Ridgeline beats it due to it having blind sport monitoring along with lane departure warning.
While the Honda Ridgeline may not be miles ahead of the other trucks it does manage to stand on its own two feet.
So would you choose the Honda Ridgeline, the Chevrolet Colorado, Nissan Frontier or the Toyota Tacoma?
