2017 Honda Ridgeline, Colorado, Tacoma and Frontier Fight it Out

By  |

There is no doubt that the 2017 Honda Ridgeline took over and wowed the crowds who attended the Detroit Auto Show. While many people had nothing but good to say about the vehicle, it has got some stick due to the fact that it looks boring.

Some people have been comparing the Honda Ridgeline to other trucks, including the Toyota Tacoma, the Chevrolet Colorado and Nissan Frontier. But how does the Ridgeline manage to contend with these other tougher vehicles?

The Chevrolet Colorado offers up more horsepower and the Nissan Frontier comes with more torque. This means that they are both ahead of the Honda Ridgeline in this aspect.

For the payload it is the Chevrolet Colorado that comes out ahead as it can carry 7,000lbs.

The Honda Ridgeline may not offer what is needed to carry the heaviest payload but it does have the widest payload.

For safety measures the Toyota Tacoma offers up blind spot monitoring but it is the Honda Ridgeline that comes out ahead thanks to it having lane departure warning and more great safety features.
