Turbocharged and reasonable price are not two things that generally go together. However, when it comes to the 2017 Honda CR-V they do.

We say this as you can pick up the 1.5 litre turbocharged version for just $2.5k more than the 2.4 litre would cost you. This engine is new to the line-up and gone is the SE trim. The LX trim is the entry level with the 2.4 litre engine and you can pick this up for $24, 945.

The EX is the next level up and this comes with the turbocharged engine and begins at $27, 595. It means that the Honda CR-V is now more economical than ever. You should be able to get about 26mpg when in the city and 32mpg when out on the highway if you go for the front-wheel drive version. The all-wheel drive offers 25mpg in the city and 32mpg out on the highway. If you go for the turbocharged you get better ratings as these are 28mpg in the city and 34mpg on the highway if you go for front-wheel drive and all –wheel drive offers 27 in the city and 33mpg on the highway.

The 2017 Honda CR-V offers up multi-angle rearview camera, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, LED lighting and capless fuel filler and audio controls mounted on the steering wheel. If you go for the EX trim you also get two USB ports at the back and technology additions, along with gaining back the physical volume knob button.
