2017 Honda CR-V To Ride On The Honda Ridgeline High

The 2017 Honda CR-V is hoping to ride on the high of the Honda Ridgeline and the ad in the Super Bowl last year. The ad for the CR-V this year marks the third time that Honda has promoted the vehicle during the football event.

Last year the Honda Ridgeline ad generated a great deal of buzz and the 2017 Honda CR-V is hoping to do the same this year. Last year’s ad was called A New Truck To Love and we saw a gang of sheep singing Somebody To Love by Queen.

The Super Bowl is the best place to reveal the sophisticated and bold new Honda HR-V, which has been completely redesigned and which has been the top seller among SUVs in the US.

The last time the Honda CR-V starred in an ad during the Super Bowl was back in 2012 when Matthew Broderick starred in a tribute to Ferris Buellers Day Off in an ad titled Matthews Day Off.

While we haven’t been told any details about the new ad campaign, we do know that it is going to build upon the ad from last year starring the Honda Ridgeline. Honda Motor Company has spent around $362 million in the promotion of the Honda brand name during 2015 and in the first half of 2016 they spend $210 million. It has been said that one Super Bowl L1 ad costs $5 million.
