2017 Honda CR-V Not Meeting The Honda Pilot, Meets Civic Instead

By  |

There has been a great deal of talk about the design of the Honda CR-V and people thought that it may take on the design of the Honda Pilot, while offering up some new features. But it looks like this might not happen now, so the CR-V isn’t going to meet the Pilot, but the Honda Civic instead.

It is now said that the Honda Pilot isn’t going to be sharing its design but the design of the Honda Civic may be copied instead with the 2017 Honda CR-V. The design of the Civic was one that has been received very well and on the CR-V this design should make the vehicle take on a younger and fresher look.

The Honda CR-V is going to offer up new head and tail lights, along with a new grille, these are going to be based on the design of the Civic. The vehicle is also having the same platform of the Honda Civic and it may offer the 1.5 litre VTEC engine which is turbocharged. It could also be offered in the 2 litre VTEC engine too.

It is thought that the Honda CR-V should be launched at the LA Auto Show towards the end of the year.
