The Honda Civic Type-R was revealed and the vehicle was criticized heavily thanks to the styling, which many people said was overly aggressive. Now thoughts have turned to the Honda Civic Si, which is going to be shown off on November 16 in LA, and the reception for it has been more positive thanks to its looks.
The details regarding the Honda Civic Si are mostly scarce but it has been said that it will come with a front fascia that has been modified, along with a new grille and an exhaust pipe design that is unique.
We have been told that the Honda Civic Si should arrive with the tuned variant of the 1.5 litre turbocharged engine or maybe the detuned 2 litre turbocharged engine from the Type R.
When the Honda Civic Si does make its way out it will fall in-between the 1.5 litre Honda Civic and the Honda Type R and offer 220 to 230 horses. It will be front wheel drive and it should be available with the six speed manual gears and automatic.
So are you pumped up about the upcoming Honda Civic Si and will it make up for the disappointment of the Honda Type R?
