2017 Ford Ranger: Outshined By The Ford Bronco For Second Time

By  |

The Ford Ranger is the vehicle that we will have to thank if the Ford Bronco makes it back onto the market. However the Ranger really doesn’t get the attention that it deserves as the Bronco tends to outshine it.

We have heard that Ford is producing a new truck and it will be competing against the Chevrolet Colorado and the Toyota Tacoma. We have seen the Ford Ranger in testing over in the US and this is thought to be the weapon of choice.

This does sound exciting but then there is something more interesting to people as Ford are said to be building a new SUV with the Ford Ranger and it is thought that this is going to be the return of the Ford Bronco.

There are numerous trucks out right now so it really isn’t surprising that the Ford Ranger isn’t get much attention, however if the Ford Bronco was to make an arrival this would be something else.

I was really wishing for more of the old F150-class Bronco with a 5.0L V8 FX4 Sport package with the 2.7L and 3.5L Ecoboost engines as options along with a V8 Diesel option with a 10-speed auto, 4×4 all terrain tires, Raptor suspension, etc. That would have been nice and then take the ford Explorer and put it on the new Ranger platform and then do the Explorer RS, Explorer Raptor, Explorer Sport, Explorer Platinum and the other Explorer trims along side of a Ranger RS, Ranger Raptor, Ranger FX4 Sport, Ranger Platinum, Ranger FX4, Ranger Limited, Ranger XLT, etc.
