Many car makers are making the move to turbocharged engines due to the fact that the engines are more efficient with fuel and they as they are smaller and lighter. Along with this the emission regulations are being tightened and this makes choosing the turbocharged engine more sense.

What it doesn’t mean is fans being happy with the change. While they may be making savings on the cost of fuel, some fans think that the Ford F-150 Raptor may have been ruined by going turbocharged.

One of the changes to the Ford F-150 Raptor is how the engine sounds. Some people have said that the engine sounds as though it is holding back.

It doesn’t sound as sweet as it used to we have to agree but it’s still better than having a fake engine noise fed back into the cabin of the vehicle.

But what are your thoughts on this, does the engine of the Ford F-150 Raptor sound as though it is holding back?
