The 2017 Ford Escape is making its way to the dealerships and the vehicle should offer up a drive that stands out from any other. This is a compact sedan that should come in with a price tag of around $23, 600 and owners should be able to choose from several different configurations of the vehicle.
The entry level Ford Escape S is going to offer up the 2.5 litre 4 cylinder engine and this should offer around 168 horses and provide 170 of torque. It is thought that it should give up around 21mpg when driving in the city and when on the highway it should offer around 29mpg.
While the engine may not sound as though it is such a big leap ahead, bear in mind that the Ford Escape does happen to be a superb compact SUV. One of the main focuses on the version for 2017 has been plenty of technology and you can look forward to LED tail lights, Sync 3 with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The Ford Escape also offers up an interior that has been redesigned and this ensures that the vehicle can take on the Honda HR-V. At the moment this is ahead in the compact SUV segment, however we think that the Ford Escape has enough to threaten it.
