2017 Dodge Hellcat Lucifer Has Its Beans Spilled

By  |

Recently a video was released showing what Hot Rod said was the replacement engine for the 2017 Dodge Hellcat and Charger and many people took this to be true. After all for a long time now it has been said that the V8 engine is coming to an end as electric vehicles improve.

However now it seems that the video of the replacement engine for the 2017 Dodge Hellcat and Charger was nothing more than an April Fools joke. It seems that the engine in the video comes from the Mercedes Benz M278 and it was the twin turbo V8 engine.

The engine was said to be coming in the 2017 Dodge Hellcat and Charger and it would take over from the 707 horsepower Hellcat Hemi.

Many people would like to see a twin turbo high performance engine fitted in the upcoming 2017 Dodge Hellcat and Charger and this could be an 800 horse power engine, however one thing for sure is that it isn’t going to be an engine taken from the Mercedes Benz dating back to 2010.
