The 2017 Dodge Challenger Hellcat recently took on the Tesla Model S in a race that brought nothing but shame to the Hellcat, which at one time was called the king of the drag strip.
The days of the Dodge Challenger Hellcat being the king out on the strip look to be over thanks to newer vehicles such as the Tesla Model S. The race took place between the Tesla Model S P100D with the Ludicrous mode and this meant it is able to reach 60mph from standstill in under 2.3 seconds.
Of course the 2017 Dodge Challenger Hellcat isn’t slow as it offers up 707 horses from the V8 6.2 litre supercharged engine. Even so it was put to shame by the Tesla Model S P100D.
The race was really over and done with in just seconds after it began as the differential of the Dodge Challenger Hellcat started to disintegrate just seconds after the race started. By this time the Tesla Model S P100D was several hundred feet in front of it.
