2017 Dodge Challenger Cobra May Take Over From Where Viper Leaves Off

By  |

Dodge will cease producing the Dodge Viper at the Conner Avenue plant in 2017 and since hearing this there has been talk going around that the 2017 Dodge Challenger Cobra may be taking over from where the Viper leaves off and it may be a very powerful vehicle.

The 2017 Dodge Challenger Cobra may take that name as it would be a fitting reminder of the Dodge Viper.

The Dodge Viper SRT offers the V10 8.4 litre engine that offers up 645 horse power and this means that it can reach a top speed of 206mph and goes from standing still to 100mph in just 12 seconds.

The current version of the Challenger has 305 horse power thanks to the V6 3.6 litre engine but the 2017 Dodge Challenger Cobra is surely going to offer an engine that packs more power.

So will the 2017 Dodge Challenger Cobra come our way and is it going to take over from where the Viper left off?
