The Dodge Viper production will be coming to an end in 2017 and it has been said that when this happens the 2017 Dodge Challenger Cobra may take over.
The 2017 Dodge Challenger Cobra might not be the best name for the vehicle but the name will ensure that people don’t forget about the Viper once production of it has been stopped.
The Dodge Viper SRT offers 645 horse power at the moment thanks to the 8.4 litre V10 engine and it takes the vehicle from 0 to 100 in 12 seconds and reaches a top speed of 206mph.
The Challenger on the other hand offers the 3.6 litre V6 engine but if the 2017 Dodge Challenger Cobra is going to take the place of the Viper then it would have an engine that would be even more powerful.
At the moment there hasn’t been any confirmation that we will get to see the 2017 Dodge Challenger Cobra take over from the Viper, so we will have to wait to see what happens.
