2017 Chrysler Pacifica: Don’t Buy Current Model!

By  |

Are you considering buying the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica? If you are you may wish to hold back after reading the following and you might want to wait for the Pacifica Hybrid that is said to be coming before the end of this year.

While there is plenty to like about the Chrysler Pacifica there is also a lot not to like about it. For instance the V6 3.5 litre engine happens to be old now as it comes from the last generation of the minivans. The engine isn’t as refined as the V6 engines offered in rivals.

On paper the Chrysler Pacifica should offer up 28 miles per gallon. However in reality you are not going to get anywhere close to this. Along with this the handling isn’t that good and in fact driving it feels as though you are driving a large van that lumbers along.

So you might want to forget about going for the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica and instead hold out for the hybrid version.

Your write up makes the redesign and name change seem like a flop and a major step backwards. There have been customers for a decade bragging about getting over 28mpg on the Town & Country, most of those were with the previous engine family though. Why would have they made it handle so terrible compared to what it was supposed to be replacing. Perhaps Sergio needs to rethink WHO he has over the divisions and projects.
