2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Manual Doesn’t Need Shifting 0 to 60

By  |

The theory behind a manual gearbox is pretty straight forward. The first of the gears is used when moving from a standing still position only. It’s never used when accelerating or when wanting long pulls for speed. However this theory is blown away if you are behind the wheel of the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.

Chevrolet revealed that those who have bought the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 which came with the standard gearbox experience something very different with the vehicle. This is that it offers the ability to go from standing still to 60mph without having to change a single gear.

The first gear of the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 can reach 60mph and this means that the vehicles acceleration timing is improved.

The version that came before it took 4 seconds to reach 60 and it offered up 580 horses. The new version of the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 offers up even more power thanks to the vehicle being 220lbs lighter and so the timing should be greatly improved.
