Usually the old saying of size matters does apply but not in the case of the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro. It seems that size really isn’t going to matter this time at least when it comes to the interior of the vehicle. We say this as the Camaro isn’t known for having a large cabin, but it has been nominated for the 10 Best Interiors Contest of Wards.

Typically only the best of the best car interiors get chosen for the WardsAuto Awards and the winners are generally revealed in April and then go on display at the Detroit Cobo Center at the WardsAuto Interiors Conference in May.

The 2017 Chevrolet Camaro cabin has been chosen even though it doesn’t offer up lots of space. What had ensured that it got into the competition is the brushed trim, which looks classy, the seating that hugs the body and the ergonomics of steering wheel, shifter and seating. The judges also loved the way that the dual HVAC temperature adjusters had been integrated into the big air vents in the centre of the console.

When designing the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro even the designers said that they had less room to play with. They went on to say that they designed it so that it still felt wide and powerful. The quality of materials has been improved but at the same time they ensured that the price tag remained reasonable.

But do you think the cabin of the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro has what it needs to be considered for the Wards ten best interior competition?
