There has been a lot of anticipation for the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 and this is down to it being the first vehicle to come with the ten speed automatic gears. The high speed version comes with the ability to be able to reach 60mph when in first gear.

The Chevrolet Camaro 1LE V6 engine draws people in as it is cheaper than the Camaro SS 1LE. What people didn’t realise was that the cheaper vehicle is able to rival the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, which was proved when it went around the Car and Driver Lighting Lap.

The Chevrolet Camaro 1LE managed to beat the Ford Mustang V6 2011 version in the LL1 category. It took 3 minutes and 4 seconds and it came in only just behind the Hellcat by 0.5 seconds, bear in mind it offers a price tag of $62, 500.

The Hellcat offers up the V8 engine which gives out 707 horsepower and 650 torque, while the Chevrolet Camaro 1LE gives up 335 horsepower and 284 torque, it also costs half the price of the Dodge Challenger Hellcat. The Ford Mustang V6 offered the previous record and this was 3 minutes and 12.5 seconds.
