2017 Bugatti Chiron: Should The Price Tag Be Higher For 1,500 Horses?
Often people talk about cars offering up huge amounts of power but they are exaggerated. One car that isn’t exaggerated is the Bugatti Chiron. The Chiron takes over from the Bugatti Veyron, which offers 1,200 horses, but the Chiron offers plenty more.
The Bugatti Chiron was shown off at the Geneva Motor Show this year and it was revealed that it offers up 1,500 horse power. The cost of such power comes in at $2.7 million, which meant that around only 1% of the people who attended the show could actually afford to drive away in one.
The predecessor, the Bugatti Veyron, came with a price tag of$1.7 million and Bugatti did have issues selling the 450 units they made. So surely they will have the same issues with the Chiron?
Apparently not, as just six months after its released 200 of the 500 units have been ordered. What is even more impressive is the fact that you have to pay $225,000 USD to order one. Perhaps Bugatti could have charged more for the Bugatti Chiron?
It is looking as though those with the case to spare just cannot resist the looks and power of the Bugatti Chiron, even with a price tag of $2.7 million.
