The EPA numbers for the 2017 Bugatti Chiron is out and while it might be an important detail for some models, we think that most of the people that are looking to get the Chiron will not be thinking about the EPA at all.
According to EPA, the Bugatti Chiron will only return about 11mpg on average which is about 9mpg in the city and 14mpg on the highway. The numbers are not amazing but honestly, nobody was actually expecting the Chiron to have great fuel economy.
The vehicle is powered by an 8.0 litre 16 cylinder engine that will be offering about 1500hp and 1180lb ft of torque. The vehicle will only need 2.3 seconds to go from 0-60mph and has a top speed of 218mph.
In fact, the Chiron is slightly more fuel efficient than the Bugatti Veyron that it replaces. If you are looking to save on fuel, the Chiron is probably your last pick but we don’t think that is going to affect the sales of the Chiron at all.
