The 2017 Bugatti Chiron has been said to be many things, but having the title of being the fastest vehicle in the world just isn’t one of them. The vehicle comes in with a price tag of $2.5 million, however it cannot beat the Veyron for speed, well it cannot beat the Veyron Super Sport costing $1.7 million.
This is something that was done intentionally as the top speed of the Bugatti Chiron was capped at 261mph. The Bugatti Veyron Super Sport however comes with a top speed of 267.7mph.
Of course the limited top speed could be removed by Bugatti on the Bugatti Chiron if they wanted to do it. This would mean that the 8 litre W16 engine could be capable of offering 285mph. Of course you could not possibly go that fast on the typical roads, but it does sound good to say that you own a car that can travel that fast.
Owners could brag the acceleration time on the Bugatti Chiron. The Veyron Super Sport reaches 60mph from standing still in only 2.5 seconds thanks to the 1, 184 horses and the successor is said to take 2 seconds and this could prove to be impossible to beat.
