2017 Bugatti Chiron: 1500 Horses Means Price Tag Is Too Cheap
Some reports of the massive power offered by vehicles are nothing more than hype. However the Bugatti Chiron really does offer up huge power, in fact it offers up 1500 horses. The predecessor Bugatti Veyron offered 1200 horses, so the Chiron does take power that much further.
The Bugatti Chiron made an entrance at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show and this is where it showed off the power it has. The exotic supercar comes with a price tag of $2.7 million, which means that around 1% of those who attended the event could actually afford to purchase the vehicle.
The price tag of the Bugatti Chiron is $1.7 million more than the predecessor, so you would have thought that the Chiron would struggle to sell as the Veyron struggled to sell the 450 units that were made. But it seems that the Chiron isn’t going to suffer the same fate even with the larger price tag.
The Bugatti Chiron has only been out for six months and up to now there has been 200 orders placed out of the 500. Bear in mind that to order the Chiron you do have to put down a deposit of $225,000 USD. So could the car maker have asked for more money?
It is looking as though the rich just cannot resist the superb looks of the Bugatti Chiron, along with the extra power of course, so they have to make the upgrade.
