The 2017 BMW i3 is a small car that is going to burn a larger hole in your pocket but at least it comes with a battery that is larger.
The 2016 version of the vehicle came with a price tag of $43, 395 and this included the destination fee of 4995. The all-electric 2017 BMW i3 is being offered with the newer 94Ah battery but the price tag has been increased to $44, 595 and the Rex begins with a price tag of $48, 445 with both prices including the destination fee.
The 2017 BMW i3 does offer up a battery that is much bigger for the extra bucks as the 22 kWh pack gives 81 miles range and the 2017 version offers 33kWh which is going give you 114 miles, officially. This means that you have to pay a little over $100 per kWh for the extra capacity in the i3.
The 2017 BMW i3 is also going to offer up some new equipment as standard and two new options will be made available, the Protonic Blue and the Dark Oak Wood trim. Also on offer is the BMW Performance Driving Experience.
