2017 BMW 5-Series: Premium Gets Boring

By  |

The 2017 BMW 5-Series is expected to come our way very soon and we have seen spy shots already. Spy shots have shown us the styling is going to be evolutionary instead of being revolutionary both on the inside and the outside. It is going to be longer, taller and wider than the previous version, but is premium starting to get boring?

Passengers will be able to enjoy more space in the new 2017 BMW 5-Series, including more leg room. There is also going to be more space available in the cargo area. We have already heard that the vehicle will have the CLAR platform and this means that it has enjoyed a weight loss of 220 pounds.

The 2017 BMW 5-Series is going to take many of the features of the bigger brother and this includes the semi-autonomous driving technology with Lane Control Assistant along with Steering assistance.

We are expecting the 2017 BMW 5-Series to come with a choice of engines and these should be the four, six and eight cylinder turbocharged engines. The engine will be the V8 and we expect this to hand out 626 horses and have automatic transmission.

After the 2017 BMW 5-Series sedan comes our way we are expecting to see the Touring and 5 Series GT come our way. The production of the regular version is going to start towards the end of the year in Lower Bavaria and in early 2017 in Austria.
