2016 Outlander Sport and Lancer Heading Back Thanks To Recall

The Mitsubishi Outlander and the Lancer are being recalled due to an issue with the CVT, which is said to be down to it losing signal and this could mean a delay when it comes to acceleration. In total 82, 436 units have been affected by the recall.

The affected vehicles are said to include the 2016 and 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport along with the 2016 version of the Mitsubishi Lancer and the Outlander that come with Jatco CVT. Anyone who is affected in the recall can go back to the dealer and the CVT reprogrammed for free.

Mitsubishi have not said whether there has been any crashes or injuries and the recall began on August 15th.
