New reports are now saying that Mazda is having an oversupply of Mazda MX-5 which means the people are not buying them despite their admiration for the car. It is now like the vehicle is pricey either as it is one of the cheapest sports cars around.

To convince more people to get a Mazda MX-5, Mazda announces that they will be taking off $2000 from the Mazda MX-5 price tag. According to the report, the 2016 Mazda MX-5 will be getting a $1500 incentive with a potential of discount up to $2000 with the help of other discounts.

The 2016 Mazda MX-5 is powered by a 2.0-liter engine that will be offering about 155hp and 148lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
