The Mazda 3 is a vehicle that has enjoyed a new design along with an upgrade to the engine and overall it has been received well. The 2 litre is good but if you want something better by way of the driving experience then you might want to go for the 2.5 litre engine. However is it worth going for the upgrade?

The 2 litre version offers up 155 horses along with 150 torque. It comes with the six speed manual transmission but an automatic is going to be offered too. The 2 litre engine takes 7.8 seconds for the vehicle to go from standing still to 60mph.

The 2.5 litre engine offers up the automatic transmission and this offers up 184 horse power and 185 of torque and it takes 6.9 seconds to reach 60mph from standing still.

You can get hold of the Grand Touring version which comes with the 2.5 litre for around $26, 615 and the entry level version comes in at $17, 845.
