Thanks to its new design and upgraded engine the Mazda 3 has gone down well on the market. If you want to save money the 2 litre engine may be perfect for you but if you want to get more out of the driving experience then you might want to consider upgrading to the 2.5 litre. But is the upgrade worth going for?

The 2 litre offers up 155 horses along with 150 torque and it comes with the six speed manual transmission. An automatic transmission is also going to be made available. The 2 litre will have you going from standstill to 60mph in only 7.8 seconds.

The 2.5 litre engine offers the automatic transmission and 184 horse along with 185 of torque and this takes 6.9 seconds to reach 60mph from standing still.

The base version of the Mazda 3 will cost you $17, 845 and the Grand Touring offers the 2.5 litre engine at the cost of $26, 615.
