2016 LA Auto Show: Honda Civic Si, Jeep Compass, Colorado ZR2 & Many More!

By  |

The 2016 LA Auto Show didn’t disappoint again this year and we were treated to glimpses of some of the most popular vehicles, including the Honda Civic Si, Jeep Compass, Colorado ZR2, Alfa Romeo and Audi Q5.

Honda is a name that people flock to at the show and this year the car maker showed off the redesigned Honda CR-V along with the debut of the Honda Civic Si. The Si is a concept and so we don’t know a great deal about the engines offered. However we did get some information and this was by way of it possibly coming with the 2 litre turbocharged engine or the 1.5 litre turbocharged engine.

The Jeep Compass has been redesigned and it is going to make its way to North America after arriving in Brazil. It will take over from the boxy looking Patriot and replace the Compass that is on the market now. It takes some of the styling of the Grand Cherokee and has the same platform as the Jeep Renegade.

The production version of the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 made an appearance; we have been seeing spy photos of this during the summer. Also on show was the 2018 Chevrolet Equinox crossover that has recently been unveiled in September.

Alfa Romeo has been at the show and the Giulia sedan has made it to the US. The Stelvio is an all-wheel drive crossover that is sharing the Giulia platform and this made an arrival and it is going up against the Audi Q5 and BMW X3.

Last but not least Audi showed off the Audi Q5 crossover, along with the Audi R8 v10 Plus Exclusive Edition, which is going to be made available in the US in a limited amount of 25 units.

So which of these cars has you the most excited, is it the Honda Civic Si, the Jeep Compass, Chevrolet Colorado ZR2, Alfa Romeo Stelvio or the Audi Q5 or R8 limited edition?
