2016 Jeep Wrangler Has Said Goodbye To Jeep Cherokee
While Jeep is investing so that production capacity of the Jeep Wrangler can increase they are now in a position already that they intended for the arrival of the next generation to make its way onto the roads in 2018.
Sales figures were shared recently and they show that the 2016 Jeep Wrangler has waved goodbye to the Jeep Cherokee and has become the best-seller in the US in last month’s figures along with the YTD sales.
Before this the car makers iconic 4×4 was left struggling to catch up with the Cherokee and Grand Cherokee for sales, due to the restricted supply from one plant in Toledo.
Now it has managed to reach the top of the sales charts in July and it has now gone ahead of the Jeep Cherokee, which sold 15, 451 units and the current year to date sales figures are now 119, 042.
The Jeep Cherokee fell down from the number one spot to third place and the Jeep Grand Cherokee has taken the lead at 116, 850 YTD sales.
The three names have taken Jeep stateside along with the RAM to carry FCA and brands struggling to boost their sales include Chrysler, Dodge, Alfa and Fiat.
