The FCA has issued two recalls and these are affecting the Jeep Renegade along with the Dodge Journey and some more vehicles.
The Jeep Renegade has been involved in the recall and it is the units with the trailer hitch that was fitted at the factory that have been involved. This is down to the fact that some were fitted with just one fastener per side instead of three.
The models said to be affected include the 2015 Jeep Renegade, 2016 Jeep Renegade and in total around 8561 units of the vehicle are affected by the recall.
The other recall is affecting the 2015 and 2016 Chrysler Town and Country along with the 2016 RAM ProMaster and the 206 Dodge Journey. Reports suggest that 26, 299 units are going to be affected in the recall. Models that are affected will have a new transmission pump fitted due to the fact that the pump could seize up and this may lead to the transmission being without hydraulic pressure.
