Fiat Chrysler is undergoing a recall of 1, 824 units of the Jeep Cherokee due to an issue over a seat fastener.
It is said that the seat fasteners on the first and second row seats might not be tightened properly. This may mean that the seating can move and this brings about a risk of injury to the people in the seats if they should be involved in an accident.
At the moment we haven’t heard about any injuries having been reported and it was said that the 2016 Jeep Cherokee units that have been affected are on units that were built between July 29 2013 and February 5 2016.
Any Jeep Cherokee that is affected is going to have the seating replaced and the recall started on 23 September. If you are worried about your vehicle being affected you can get in touch with customer services at Fiat Chrysler.
