2016 Chevrolet Camaro Still Paying Catch Up?

By  |

The Chevrolet Camaro has been trailing behind the Ford Mustang ever since Ford brought out the new Ford Mustang back in 2014. With its new design and engine, the Ford Mustang was just too much for the Camaro. The Mustang ended up holding on to the top spot for the whole of 2015.

It was predicted that things might start changing this year as Chevrolet releases the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro. While the Camaro was given an update, some people are now saying that the upgrade is not great enough to beat the Mustang.

The exterior has been upgraded but the upgrade was not as drastic as what we saw on the Ford Mustang. The Camaro still looked like the previous model but with a slight tweak here and there. Powering the Chevrolet Camaro is a 2.0-liter engine that will be delivering about 275hp.

The Camaro might not have as much power as the Mustang but it is lighter and smaller so that might even things out. Do you think the Chevrolet Camaro stand a chance this year?

There is not one speed category tested where any Mustang came out on top of a Camaro. Every engine match up ended the same. Camaro in first place.
We wont even get into 4G LTE Hotspot Connectivity and OnStar Remote Link (Ford Sync who?)
Ask ford why they are rushing to update their “new” Mustang after only less than 2 years out of the box….. Winner…Camaro
